About the Role

This leadership position focuses on delivering exceptional facilities management across corporate offices and national store networks. The ideal candidate will drive safe, compliant, and reliable operations while fostering a positive culture.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of managers and specialists in facilities management.
  • Developing and implementing a national facilities maintenance plan for continuous improvement in service and cost efficiency.
  • Overseeing energy management and environmental performance to achieve company targets.
  • Managing key supplier relationships to ensure compliance with legislative obligations and lease agreements.
  • Providing financial oversight of expenditure budgets and asset base.
  • SUPPORTING construction, fitout, and renewal programs to ensure timely delivery and compliance with building standards.
  • Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing team of managers and specialists.

Requirements

  • 10–15 years of experience in facilities management or property leadership roles, preferably in a retail environment.
  • Bachelor's degree or extensive industry experience in facilities management, engineering, or related discipline (trade qualifications in electrical/air-conditioning highly regarded).
  • Strong knowledge of facilities maintenance systems, building compliance, and OH&S obligations.
  • Proven experience managing large-scale budgets, contracts, and supplier relationships.
  • Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills, with the ability to partner across diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to balance operational delivery and long-term planning.
  • Strong leadership capability—experienced in managing managers and fostering high-performance teams.
