About Your Role:
Company OverviewWe practice an exceptionally high standard of care for all our patients. Our team of experienced Vets and Nurses provides knowledge, support, and approachability. We value teamwork and strive for excellence in patient care.
Salary:The estimated salary for this role is $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience. The position includes penalties for evening and overnight shifts, providing a competitive remuneration package.
Job Description:As an Emergency and Critical Care Nurse at AEC Gold Coast, you will be responsible for:
- Providing critical care nursing services, including mechanical ventilation cases
- Rotating through surgical, reception, and hospital roles
- Supporting diagnostic imaging, including digital x-ray, ultrasound, and endoscopy
- Participating in continued education courses
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Cert IV qualifications as a Veterinary Nurse (or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience within general practice or emergency nursing
- A keen interest in emergency and critical care
- Exceptional organisation and communication skills
