Job Description:
The Senior Strategic Sourcing Specialist will lead negotiations to finalise high-value contracts with suppliers, driving best possible outcomes for the department.
This role requires a strong leader with highly developed commercial, analytical, presentation, and negotiation skills, who can provide leadership and advice to the Procurement branch on various functions in support of the Chief Procurement Officer (CPO).
A key aspect of this position involves undertaking market research and data analysis to drive process improvements and identify opportunities for innovation, ensuring compliance with relevant procurement policies and procedures.
- Main Responsibilities:
- Undertake market research and data analysis to drive process improvements and identify opportunities for innovation
- Lead negotiations to finalise high-value contracts with suppliers
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant discipline and have 7-10 years' experience in managing end-to-end major sourcing events.
