Lead Front End Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Front End Engineer to join our team at Westpac Banking Corporation. As a key member of our Technology team, you will play a critical role in the development of our new Online Banking Platform for Corporate and Institutional clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a stream of engineers and solution designers to design and build a new Online Banking Platform.
  • Collaborate with other stream Lead engineers to ensure consistency in design and build.
  • Develop and implement technology solutions in line with best practices and to agreed timeframes.
  • Provide technical input to the strategic direction of technology investments.
  • Engage with Architects, Consultants, Infrastructure and Security Specialists to provide a key link between the technical needs of the business and the solution design.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical knowledge in HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs.
  • Experience with OpenFin is highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to provide and follow technical engineering advice and recommendations.
