Talent International is seeking an experienced Systems Analyst to join our team in Canberra. As a key member of our Program team, you will be responsible for developing systems analysis artefacts and communicating results to support business decision making.

Key Responsibilities
  • Examine business problems and determine the requirements for an enhanced or new information system
  • Participate in Program Increment Planning sessions, daily standups, and sprint reporting
  • Advise stakeholders and colleagues on the choice of techniques, tools, and processes required for modelling and analysis activities and tasks
  • Apply knowledge of systems analysis methods and techniques, modelling, and quality assurance techniques to understand business information system processes and contribute to business outcomes
  • Utilize research skills to analyze and articulate features of the Program information system domain within accepted practices
Requirements
  • Demonstrated experience in the development of systems analysis and business analysis artefacts to support software development in a dynamic environment using Agile principles
  • Great technical problem-solving skills and experience
  • Experience in writing technical documents, including detailed system requirements as either system specifications documents or user story format
  • Highly developed verbal and written communications skills, including demonstrated ability to maintain productive working relationships and to liaise effectively with senior stakeholders to reach agreement on complex matters
Desirable Criteria
  • Experience on projects using some or all of Elastic, Kibana, Hbase, Hadoop, or Nifi
  • Experience with database technologies, including SQL, data mapping, and ETL projects
