Dietitian Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Dietitian to join our multidisciplinary team at Maari Ma Health. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our nutrition and health promotion programs, conducting services in various settings, and delivering clinical dietetic interventions for the management of chronic disease.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement nutrition and health promotion programs in schools, community groups, and other settings
- Conduct local and outreach services, including referrals for metabolic obesity
- Deliver clinical dietetic interventions for the management of chronic disease
- Participate in health promotion activities, emphasizing illness prevention through community-wide and group-based initiatives
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $72,700 - $105,300 gross per annum, plus superannuation, depending on qualification and years of experience. Benefits include 5 weeks paid annual leave, Christmas closure, public holidays off, and flexible leave accrual.
The successful candidate will be required to travel regularly within the Maari Ma region, with occasional overnight stays. Incentives for this position include a retention bonus, temporary accommodation, relocation assistance, and home base travel allowance.
Requirements- A degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Experience in dietetics, particularly in a regional or remote area
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
