As a Strategic Procurement Specialist at Goodstart Early Learning, you will play a critical role in driving strategic procurement for indirect categories like consumables and beyond. Reporting to the Head of Procurement, you will develop innovative strategies, lead market analysis, and negotiate complex supply contracts. Your focus on not only cost-saving opportunities but providing added value through effective supplier relationship management will directly impact our financial goals and support sustainable growth.

Your Impact:

You'll lead complex negotiations, build strong supplier and stakeholder relationships, and ensure the seamless execution of contracts that align with our financial and sustainability goals. Through in-depth market analysis, you will uncover opportunities for improvement and sustainability, while leveraging data-driven insights to enhance procurement practices. Your work will ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and ethical standards, while fostering cross-functional collaboration to achieve cohesive and efficient purchasing practices across the network. By coaching and empowering your team and stakeholders, you will elevate procurement capabilities and contribute to the long-term growth and success of the business.

You'll Bring:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related field.
  2. 3-5 years' experience in a procurement role responsible for procurement in a large portfolio.
  3. Managing procurement processes across multiple categories including commercial negotiations, supplier management, risk mitigation and financial analysis.
  4. Sourcing products and services (end to end) to meet a complex and changing business.
  5. Building and maintaining strong, mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers.
  6. Stakeholder engagement both internal and external.
