Project Manager Job Description

MACA Interquip Mintrex is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team in West Perth. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and manage project budgets, costing, resource plans, and schedules.
  • Prepare and issue project monthly reports, including safety, engineering, procurement, quality, HR, cost, and schedule status.
  • Liaise with clients and manage project resources to ensure timely engagement and avoid missed project milestones.
  • Take early action to ensure project costs and timelines remain on schedule.
  • Manage project teams, including engineers, construction staff, and other stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.
  • 10+ years of experience in the engineering and construction industry, with demonstrated experience in project management and construction leadership.
  • Commercial negotiation experience.
  • Knowledge of WA Mines Legislation.
  • Experience in engaging with clients and employees to ensure understanding and compliance of OHS Regulations, Acts, and Workers Compensation legislation.
  • Proven experience managing multi-discipline engineering project teams.
  • High-level communication skills, including written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Developed estimating, scheduling, and analytical skills.
