Partnership Facilitator - Early Years
This role plays a pivotal part in fostering strong, collaborative relationships between communities, services, and the Department of Education to ensure that every child has access to quality early learning experiences.
The position focuses on implementing early childhood initiatives that prioritise participation, engagement, and smooth transitions into formal schooling, leading to improved educational and wellbeing outcomes.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and delivering early childhood-specific projects, preparing high-quality reports and briefings, and developing strong partnerships with internal and external stakeholders to support regional early years priorities.
- Engaging with diverse stakeholders to gather and analyse data from various sources, including demographic trends, ECEC sector performance, and local government planning, to inform strategic decision-making.
- Identifying local priorities, addressing emerging trends, and building community capacity to ensure tailored responses to regional needs.
Through targeted activities, collaboration with stakeholders, and provision of timely advice to the Manager, the Partnership Facilitator helps shape high-impact strategies that address early childhood needs at a local and regional level, optimising quality outcomes for all children.
This is a merit-based position, requiring demonstrated knowledge, skills, experience, potential for growth, and personal qualities that align with the department's commitment to equity, excellence, and positive futures for every child.
