The Role Description
  • This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • You will be responsible for guiding and developing the Nurse team, building a positive team culture, and taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency.
  • Career growth opportunities exist through leadership mentoring, CE programs, and expansion of professional interests.

Your Key Tasks

  • Manging a team of Vet Nurses and supporting busy Vets.
  • Guiding and developing the Nurse team, building a positive team culture.
  • Undertaking general nursing tasks, including team-based consulting, pathology, surgical nursing, administration duties, and emergency and critical care.
  • Taking initiative to enhance clinic operations and efficiency.
  • Collaborating with the veterinary team to ensure high standards of patient care.

Requirements and Expectations

  • Holds a Cert IV qualification in Veterinary Nursing with a minimum of 3+ years of experience.
  • Experience coaching and mentoring Vet Nurses.
  • Possesses strong leadership skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Strong knowledge of surgical nursing techniques and procedures.
