Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Specialist to join our team at Tesla. As a key member of our Hub Operations Team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and logistics functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and process incoming and outgoing material deliveries to ensure 100% fulfillment and accuracy
  • Monitor inventory levels and complete regular cycle counts to maintain accurate records
  • Source parts from distribution centers and allocate them to job picks to meet customer demands
  • Process shipments from vendors and verify invoice accuracy to ensure timely payment
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve transit damage and shipment issues
  • Prepare defective Tesla-manufactured parts for shipment to other facilities or third-party vendors for failure analysis, remanufacturing, or warranty replacement
  • Process and return non-Tesla-manufactured defective material to vendors under warranty
  • Manage the disposal of old or broken material and hazardous materials in accordance with environmental health and safety guidelines
  • Pick up and transport parts using a van or forklift to support fleet operations and prevent customer reschedules
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse area to 5S standards
  • Support the use of specialized tools and personal protective equipment by field teams
  • Report incidents and accidents to management immediately
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and customers
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Trustworthy and driven self-starter with a passion for the brand and a willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to learn new Warehouse Management Systems and tools
  • Able to obtain forklift certification within 3 months of employment and retain certification every 3 years
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history
  • High School diploma or equivalent in experience
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods, including lifting up to 50 lbs and repetitive climbing, bending, and reaching
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment
