Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee critical projects, ensuring they are completed to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the entire lifecycle of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
- Coordinate the construction of sheds, barns, water tanks, warehouses, roads, irrigation systems, silos, fencing, and other agricultural structures.
- Collaborate with farm management and key stakeholders to determine project requirements and ensure alignment with operational needs.
- Supervise and coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel, ensuring that all work complies with safety and environmental standards.
- Ensure that projects are completed within the allocated budget and timeline, and address any potential risks or delays promptly.
- Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure quality and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and environmental regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality control, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior management, highlighting key milestones and addressing any issues.
- Lead post-project evaluations to identify best practices and areas for improvement for future projects.
Requirements:
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications, as well as oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards relevant to rural and agricultural settings.
- Ability to solve problems under pressure and manage project risks proactively.
