Key Responsibilities:

In the role of Breakdown Mechanic, your primary focus is on attending to and resolving lift breakdowns and ensuring the safe release of trapped passengers. You will be the first point of contact for the administration staff once a breakdown has been reported.

  • Respond promptly to breakdown notifications and attend to the issue in a timely manner
  • Address Person In Lift (PIL) calls with urgency and efficiency
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify solutions for specific faults or product improvements
  • Utilize and maintain the company's CRM system, completing follow-ups, closing cases, and documenting chargeable call-outs
  • Provide detailed information in the CRM when closing cases, including error codes, fault categories, and parts used
  • Identify and replace faulty components as required
  • Offer support to the Team Leader as needed
  • Participate in the after-hours roster as required
  • Assist with WIP list activities as instructed by the Team Leader
  • Report any safety concerns affecting the product or workplace environment immediately
