Healius, a leading healthcare company in Australia, is seeking an experienced and confident Senior CT Radiographer to lead their diagnostic imaging team at the Northern Beaches Hospital.

Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum

Job Description:

This is a permanent, full-time role that involves providing high-level support to the CT and Emergency Department teams. The successful candidate will demonstrate clinical excellence, leadership skills, and a commitment to continuous professional development (CPD). As a Diagnostic Imaging Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and mentoring junior staff, ensuring efficient workflow, and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert radiography services to patients, demonstrating clinical excellence and adhering to industry standards.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and respect among colleagues.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workflow efficiency, patient satisfaction, and staff engagement.
  • Mentor and supervise junior staff, providing constructive feedback and coaching to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Identify and report on equipment and quality issues, collaborating with the Modality Head or Imaging Manager to resolve problems.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • A strong background in radiography, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in an acute hospital setting.
  • Current AHPRA registration and NSW EPA Licence.
  • Experience working with Siemens CT scanners would be highly regarded.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • A willingness to participate in on-call rotations, evenings, weekends, nights, and other non-traditional work arrangements.
