About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Storeperson to join our team in our Coppabella village, located in the Bowen Basin region of Queensland. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity that offers a stable and secure work environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • To receive and process deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and recording of inventory.
  • To safely operate a forklift to load and unload goods, maintaining a high level of safety and efficiency.
  • To store goods in designated areas, adhering to quality and safety standards.
  • To prepare and distribute supplies to other teams across the village, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
  • To receive and enter invoices into our stock management system, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • To maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • To follow established procedures and contribute to process improvements, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • To ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and environmental standards, maintaining a safe working environment for all staff and guests.
  • To utilize basic computer-based systems as required, maintaining accurate records and reporting.
  • To perform other duties as required, within the scope of the role.

About You

  • A valid forklift license is essential for this role.
  • Relevant work experience, preferably in a commercial or hospitality setting, is highly regarded.
  • A thorough understanding of stock rotation principles, including HACCP rules, is essential.
  • Experience in high-volume, fast-paced work environments is highly valued.
  • Basic computer skills are required, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Flexibility to work any shifts, including weekends, is essential for this role.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing, is required.
  • A National Police Clearance or willingness to obtain one is essential.
  • Valid Australian work rights are required.
  • Remote work experience is highly regarded.
  • A Class C, Manual Driver's License is required.
