About Our OpportunityWe are seeking motivated and hands-on Mechanical Fitter Apprentices to continue developing their skills in a supportive environment. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and committed to growing within their profession.
Your Key ResponsibilitiesCarry out repairs, overhauls, and maintenance of underground mining equipment with a focus on safety and quality. Your tasks will include:
- Fitting and assembling parts, including welding or brazing where required.
- Learning on the job from skilled tradespeople while continuing your formal education.
We want someone who is proactive, eager to learn, and committed to career growth. Key requirements include:
- Currently undertaking a mechanical apprenticeship.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing.
- Positive attitude to safety and learning.
- Desire to develop your career into areas like engineering, project management, or supervision.
