About the Role

Total Workfit Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Occupational Rehabilitation Specialist to join our team in Tasmania.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering holistic, client-centered services within workplace rehabilitation. You will work closely with injured workers, employers, and other stakeholders to provide early intervention and psychological worksite assessments, medical case conferences, and rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct early intervention and psychological worksite assessments to identify and address workplace hazards and risks.
  • Develop and implement rehabilitation plans to assist injured workers in returning to work safely and effectively.
  • Provide medical case conferences and stakeholder liaison to ensure seamless communication and coordination among all parties involved.
  • Deliver rehabilitation, motivational, and vocational counseling to support injured workers in achieving their goals and returning to work.
  • Conduct vocational assessments to identify suitable job opportunities for injured workers.

Requirements:

  • Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
  • Experience in occupational rehabilitation and a strong understanding of workplace health and safety principles.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • A go-getter attitude, taking pride in a job well-done and a commitment to delivering high-quality services.
  • Ability to produce a satisfactory Working with Children Check and Police Clearance.
  • Current driver's license and vehicle.
  • Willingness to learn and impact positively on people's lives in tangible ways.
  • The ability to engage clients and stakeholders in the wellness and work journey.
  • A commitment to a high level of customer service to clients and customers.
