Beacon Lighting, a leading household name in the lighting industry, is seeking a Retail Sales and Service Professional to join our team at our Hoppers Crossing store.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced sales professional who can provide expert customer service, promote our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts, and develop strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions.

This part-time role involves averaging approximately 56 hours per fortnight, including every second weekend (Saturday and Sunday). As a Retail Sales and Service Professional, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, achieving personal sales targets, supporting other team members, and contributing to the overall presentation of the store.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will possess:

  • Previous experience in a retail environment with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to genuinely connect with customers and provide personalized recommendations.
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of your job, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
  • Competency in POS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • The ability to multi-task and prioritize your work effectively.
  • A strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high level of product knowledge.
