We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Associate at Achieve Australia. As a key member of our retail team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and sales support in our Caringbah store.
Key Responsibilities- Provide outstanding customer service and sales support to customers, ensuring a positive shopping experience.
- Assist with the day-to-day operation of the store, including stock presentation, measuring and labelling of stock for retail display.
- Process sales transactions, including operating the cash register and EFTPOS terminal.
- Perform end-of-day sales tallies and reconcile sales reports.
- Assist with the collection and handling of incoming donations and preparation for transfer to the warehouse.
- Support customers with their queries and complaints, providing solutions and alternatives when necessary.
- Contribute to stock management and reordering, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
- Previous experience in retail sales and customer service is highly regarded.
- Knowledge of sewing, quilting, and related craft activities is an advantage.
- Experience with point-of-sale equipment and inventory management systems is essential.
- Ability to work well with colleagues, employees, and volunteers in a fast-paced retail environment.
