Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Adelaide Buildings team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing the design and installation of electrical systems for a diverse range of projects, including data centers, healthcare, education, and defense.
Key Responsibilities- Design and Development: Design, develop, and oversee the design and installation of electrical systems, including lead and oversee the preparation of engineering drawings, reports, and engineering specifications.
- Team Leadership: Coach and mentor less senior members of the team to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Client Engagement: Collaboratively engage with clients to listen, understand, and provide solutions that meet their needs.
- Project Management: Manage and lead projects from concept design to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Technical Expertise: Apply and further grow your well-rounded skills and experience, balanced in both technical ability and consulting/managerial skills.
- Problem-Solving: Creative application of your problem-solving skills to continually find ways to overcome challenges and obstacles.
- Collaboration: Enjoy collaborating with colleagues nationally and internationally, as we utilize our people across ANZ and beyond to solve our clients' problems.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or related field.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical systems, including power, lighting, communications, and security design.
- Experience: Demonstrated engineering experience in data centers, health, and defense projects will be highly regarded.
- Client Relationships: Ability to build, maintain, and manage strong client relationships.
- Project Management: Experience managing and leading projects from concept design to completion.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with relevant regulatory standards and codes related to electrical design and installation associated with the electrical industry.
