About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Commissioning Manager to join our team in Melbourne. This role offers great career prospects with a leading international engineering enterprise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, delivery, and integration of testing, commissioning, entry into service, and asset acceptance of all project elements, including civil, electrical, earthing, mechanical, communications, and control systems.
  • Ensure all related project testing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning documentation are developed and approved for each discipline, including for any vendor supplying major equipment.
  • Develop material and lead training for operations and maintenance teams to ensure operator competence at handover.
  • Ensure all commissioning resources are verified as competent for the tasks they undertake.
  • Ensure commissioning activities are completed in a timely manner and in accordance with project milestones.
  • Interface with internal and external stakeholders, including energy regulators, asset operations, and maintenance teams.

About You

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
  • Previous experience in a similar leadership role involving switchyards and transmission lines
  • Individual discipline testing and commissioning experience in Energy transmission projects
  • Working on multi-disciplined projects

Estimated Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per annum, depending on experience. Applications from recruitment agencies will not be considered.
