Cafe Service Provider

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our cafe, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, operating coffee machines, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily cafe operations, including setting up and closing the cafe, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer queries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Operate coffee machines, preparing drinks and snacks to a high standard.
  • Process transactions and manage cash handling responsibilities.
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and staff attendance.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Excellent customer service skills and experience in a retail environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Knowledge of coffee-making procedures and ability to operate coffee machines.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with point-of-sale systems.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
