The primary focus of this position is to provide high-level clinical leadership, operational management, and strategic direction for the Specialist Programs, Alcohol and Other Drugs Services. This involves implementing strategies and providing expert advice and supervision to ensure service delivery is aligned with business goals, relevant corporate, national, and state-wide plans, legislation, and contemporary evidence-based mental health service delivery.
This role requires a strong understanding of mental health services and the ability to lead a multidisciplinary team in providing high-quality care to consumers and carers. The successful candidate will be responsible for shaping services around the needs of consumers and carers, leading a highly engaged workforce, and driving a culture of innovation and accountability.
About YouTo be successful in this position, you will require:
- A Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent qualification
- Registration with the Nursing Midwifery Board of Australia
- Credentialing through the College of Mental Health Nurses or a willingness to work towards credentialing in Mental Health Nursing
- A Master's or higher qualification in a relevant area is highly desirable
- Evidence of vaccination against Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Hepatitis B
- Tuberculosis screening to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required
- Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
- Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees
