Wagga Wagga City Council is seeking a skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Workshop Service Advisor.

As a Workshop Service Advisor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our workshop facilities, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to the maintenance and repair of our assets.
Salary and BenefitsThe successful applicant will receive a competitive remuneration package of $2507.68 gross per fortnight, with opportunities for progression to $3009.22 gross per fortnight + superannuation (11.5%). In addition, you will have access to Council's Flexible Working Arrangements.
Job DescriptionAs a Workshop Service Advisor, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing a communications interface between the Division and customers, including stakeholder liaison;
- Providing quality customer service and effective administrative support for the functional areas of the Division;
- Workshop Facility Report, Work orders, and data management e.g. Council fleet management system;
- Assisting Senior Technicians with assessments to identify and diagnose faults and/or issues with council plant, fleet, and equipment assets;
- Coordinating and scheduling plant, fleet, and equipment maintenance and repair services within workshop and internal stakeholders;
- Ordering parts identified for relevant tasks relating to workshop servicing and maintenance;
- Maintaining and monitoring part stock levels utilizing council inventory management system;
- Coordinating records management for the workshop and fleet sections.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field; or demonstrated industry experience relevant to the role;
- Class C Driver's Licence; and
- Administrative and customer service experience.
