Make a difference in the lives of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people by joining our team as an Employment Consultant. You will play a vital role in helping them overcome barriers and secure sustainable employment.

This is a culturally safe and holistic service that requires you to work closely with the community, building positive relationships with local employers and community groups.

You will be responsible for developing tailored plans for individuals to create successful pathways for employment. This includes empowering them with employability skills, providing support to employers and participants, and delivering a quality service while adhering to all contractual and compliance requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
  • To have a current probationary or open Australian Drivers Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle (we can discuss further)
  • To be willing to complete a National Police check and obtain a MyID (standard level)
  • To have the ability to pass a Working with Children's check
  • To be eligible to work in Australia
