Job Title:

Logistics Coordinator

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing logistical support services to our defence customers. This will include analyzing, organizing, planning, and managing various phases of day-to-day provisioning, spares, or maintenance and repair activities for one or more basic programs using established procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes contractual documents, technical data, customer usage patterns, maintenance practices, operational characteristics, and related reports to determine provisioning or maintenance/repair needs
  • Reviews and develops logistics plans to improve the distribution of goods and supplies
  • Assists in adhering to established policies, guidelines, and procedures to maintain quality and cost control
  • Serves as a resource for less experienced colleagues and may lead small projects with manageable risks
  • Often serves as the main point of contact for customers within their area of responsibility

Requirements:

  • Cert IV in Materiel Logistics or equivalent or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an integrated logistic support or logistic engineering discipline
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Defence or related technical industry
  • Knowledge and experience in Defence logistics management systems
