We are seeking a Gender Affirming Care Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team in providing exceptional mental health services to patients within the gender diverse community.
About the Role- Provide specialized psychiatric assessment and treatment for gender diverse patients, contributing clinical expertise to treatment planning, hormone readiness assessments, and ongoing mental health support.
This pivotal role offers variety through consultation liaison work, community engagement, and potential involvement in service development initiatives. As a member of our team, you will have opportunities for growth and professional development, working in modern facilities with an expanding suite of treatment modalities.
Requirements- Experience in evidence-based practice within a patient-centred framework, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care to patients.

Appointment will be subject to a satisfactory Criminal History Check.

To be eligible for this position, you must hold a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent. Appropriate Specialist Qualifications and registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with Specialist registration; or another qualification as defined in the SA Medical Officers Award.
