Job Description:

Catering Support Officer

The successful applicant will work closely with the Convenor to ensure the efficient operation of our school canteen. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the wellbeing of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and supply meals as requested by students and staff.
  • Maintain high standards of food hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and storage areas.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and inventory management.
  • Count and manage cash takings accurately.
  • Supervise parent volunteers and maintain a positive working relationship.
Requirements:
  • A Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card is mandatory prior to commencement.
  • Eligibility to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment is required.
  • Familiarity with the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education is essential.
