Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to play a key role in our credit risk engine, ensuring accurate calculations and application of relevant credit methodology.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the team to maintain, execute, and enhance credit provision calculations.
  • Improve current operating processes within Snowflake by implementing automation strategies.
  • Analyze detailed data on provision movements and provide actionable insights to senior management.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of our provision methodology to ensure it remains fit for purpose.
  • Presentation of regular internal reports to senior management, risk committees, and the board is expected.
  • Support the finance team in delivering key external reporting deliverables.
Qualifications:
  • Experience working with credit provision models and AASB 9 accounting standard is essential.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools such as Python, R, SQL, and Power BI is required.
  • Familiarity with Snowflake and Confluence, reporting and documentation environments is necessary.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and present findings clearly is crucial.
  • Solid understanding of credit risk management and regulatory frameworks is required.
