Job Title: Options Development Specialist

Description:

Susquehanna International Group is seeking a talented software engineer to join their Electronic Options Trading Technology team. This role involves rapid iteration and delivery of trading signals, tools, and strategies used by the options trading desk across APAC markets.

The successful candidate should have a proven track record of designing, developing, and implementing client/server applications using Python as a primary development language. Collaboration will be key in this role, partnering closely with our Trading, Quantitative Researchers, Infrastructure, and Strategy Developer Teams to develop and manage scalable and highly performant systems to support trading in the region.

Requirements:
  • 3-5+ years of experience in software development in an object-oriented (OO) language such as Python, C#, Java, or C++
  • 2+ years in backend systems level development in Python. Experience with C++ is a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to deal effectively with both technical and non-technical teams
  • Eagerness to learn about both the business and technology aspects of trading
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline
  • Knowledge of financial markets and derivatives products
