Job Overview:

We are seeking a Procurement Panel Manager to undertake key procurement and contract management responsibilities. The successful candidate will have strong tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent level of operational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop statements of work, ensuring requirements are met and contractual obligations are aligned with overarching agreements.
  • Work closely with the Purchasing hub team to assist the business in sourcing goods and services.
  • Audit and monitor the panel management plan for compliance and adherence to organizational standards.
  • Lead and coordinate performance meetings with suppliers, ensuring stakeholder collaboration, minute-taking, and effective delivery of outcomes.
  • Recommend improvements to processes to reduce the total cost of ownership for the organization.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent level of operational experience.
  • Technical ability with Ariba, SAP S4/Hana, Jira, and Sharepoint is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated panel management, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous experience developing detailed Contract Management plans for projects that include deliverables.
  • Commercial negotiation skills, able to communicate, understand, interpret, and value offers and proposals to arrive at a commercially and legally sound outcome for the organization while maintaining professional relationships.
