About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Early Childhood professional to join our team as a Support and Development Officer. In this role, you will play a key part in supervising and supporting Additional Assistants who help children participate in their kindergarten program.

You'll provide hands-on support, offer guidance by phone and email, and lead sessions to build collaboration, learning and professional growth. Regular travel to kindergartens across multiple local government areas is required, with hybrid working options available.

Your Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent ACECQA approved qualification
  • A passion for working with others and seeing them thrive
  • Strong communication and supervisory skills
  • A current Victorian driver's license to travel to onsite visits
  • Experience in Microsoft Teams and the Office suite
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
