Concierge Ambassador

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Concierge to join our team at the JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa. As a Concierge, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest experiences, ensuring seamless arrivals and departures, and delivering personalized services that exceed our guests' expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Guest Services: Actively listen and respond positively to guest questions, concerns, and requests to resolve issues, delight, and build trust.
• Service Delivery: Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner.
• Anticipation: Anticipate guests' service needs, including asking questions of guests to better understand their needs and watching/listening to guest preferences and acting on them whenever possible.
• Team Support: Assist other employees to ensure proper coverage and prompt guest service.
• Engagement: Engage guests in conversation regarding their stay, property services, and area attractions/offerings.
• Accessibility: Provide assistance to individuals with disabilities, including assisting visually, hearing, or physically-impaired individuals within guidelines.
• Guest Farewell: Thank guests with genuine appreciation and provide a fond farewell.
• Guest Welcome: Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with a smile, eye contact, and a friendly verbal greeting, using the guest's name when possible.
• Local Knowledge: Stay up to date on the local area so that you are prepared to provide specific recommendations for guests.
• Communication: Communicate recommendations in a way that builds excitement and interest among guests and associates.
• Luggage Services: Supply guests/residents with directions and information regarding property amenities, services, and hours of operation, and local areas of interest and activities.

Requirements:

• Driver's License: A driver QLD open licence
• Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills
• Availability: Availability to work weekends and night shifts
