About this Role

We are seeking experienced IT professionals to join our team as Casual Teachers at the Wollongong West campus. This role involves delivering training to students enrolled in IT qualifications, using a mix of face-to-face and virtual classes during the day and evening.

  • You will engage students with varying levels of experience and education, using inclusive teaching strategies and effective time management to support student success.
  • You will contribute to vocational education, helping learners build skills for the future workforce.

To be successful in this role, you must have appropriate subject knowledge, skills, and a minimum Certificate IV in Information Technology or equivalent. You should also have a minimum of three years post-qualification experience in industry relevant to your qualifications, gained no longer than five years previously. Evidence of holding the appropriate teaching qualifications to deliver Vocational Education and Training is also required.

Key Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Delivering training to students enrolled in IT qualifications
  • Engaging students with varying levels of experience and education

Requirements
