Master Baker Wanted

We are seeking a passionate baker to join our team at Bakers Delight. As a valued member, you will be responsible for ensuring quality raw materials and accurate ingredient weights. This role involves kneading, mixing, dividing, cutting, moulding, and shaping dough.
Key responsibilities include:
- Monitoring oven temperatures and baking times for different products;
- Full coordination of the baking process for forming, loading, baking, unloading, and cooling bakery items such as bread, rolls, and pastry products;
- Icing, glazing buns and pastries, and decorating pastry goods;
- Operating machinery like rollers, moulders, provers, coolers, and dough dividers;
- Adhering to safety protocols while operating equipment;
- Verifying cleanliness, hygiene, and proper equipment operation before commencing production;
- Maintaining compliance with industrial health and safety guidelines;
- Collaborating effectively with colleagues and excelling independently;
- Communicating with management for bakery needs and assisting with ordering and maintaining adequate supplies;
- Maintaining production procedures and ensuring timely order fulfillment;
- Embodying Total Quality Management principles to ensure product quality meets Baker's Delight standards.
To succeed in this role, you must have formal baking qualifications and at least two years of experience in a similar position. Additional requirements include being calm under pressure, having proven baking experience, and being an excellent team player who can deliver results even in challenging situations.
