Healthcare Specialist

We are currently seeking an Allied Health Professional to lead our team in delivering integrated specialist care for adults with an eating disorder. The role involves providing clinical leadership and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our service.
The successful applicant will have a proven track record of leading multidisciplinary teams and optimizing clinical processes to achieve improved client outcomes. They will also be responsible for managing human and physical resources, as well as providing leadership and direction to facilitate service development statewide and at a regional level.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the day-to-day operations of our service.
- Lead the development and management of a multidisciplinary team delivering specialist community intensive-based treatment for adults with an eating disorder.
- Optimize clinical processes and client outcomes.
- Effectively manage human and physical resources.
- Provide leadership, direction and change management to facilitate service development statewide and at a regional level.
- Enhance consumer and carer participation at all levels of the service.
- Satisfactory completion of an approved allied health professional tertiary qualification/program.
- Registration with the relevant National Board.
- Current Working with Children Registration.
- Desirable: minimum of 3 years current postgraduate experience in mental health or relevant field; experience/interest in eating disorders or other mental health conditions; experience in clinical and professional supervision; Eating Disorder Credentialed practitioner.
