Based in Coopers Plains, Brisbane QLD, we have multiple sites throughout the country, serving our clients with professionalism, efficiency, and quality.

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Technical Estimator and Design Draftsperson to join our team

Key Responsibilities:
  • To provide exceptional support to our customers and clients regarding all aspects of laser cutting and fabrication services.
  • To serve our clients professionally, thoroughly, and in a timely manner, addressing their needs and requests efficiently.
  • To follow up on customer requests, including quotations, order processing, technical, and general queries.
  • To assist production, sales, and customer service officers with technical expertise.
Requirements:
  • A strong background in manufacturing, with significant experience in drafting for manufacturing processes.
  • An understanding of fabrication processes, including laser cutting, folding, welding, and assembly processes.
  • Experience working with 3D design packages, preferably Inventor.
  • Proficiency in sheet metal design.
  • The ability to prepare bills of materials and generate quotes.
  • Excellent customer focus skills.
  • Liaising with suppliers to source components.
  • Good organisational and teamwork skills.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Excellent customer service/negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to learn brake press folding software.
  • An understanding of quality management systems.
  • Familiarity with MS Office.
