We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic Workshop Leading Hand to join our team at Clark Equipment. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day activities of our workshop personnel and ensuring the efficient management of customer repairs and servicing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the workflow and procedures of the workshop team
- Manage the repair and servicing of heavy diesel equipment
- Develop and implement efficient diagnostic and repair procedures
- Lead and motivate the workshop team to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and workflow
Requirements:
- Trade qualified heavy diesel fitter with a minimum of 3-4 years' experience in a leading hand role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to effectively manage and coordinate the workshop team
- Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
- Knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
