Veterinary Nurse

We are seeking an experienced veterinary nurse to join our team at Southern Counties Veterinary Specialists as a Neurology Nurse. As a dedicated professional, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in advanced neurological cases and contribute to providing exceptional patient care.
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek, including weekends on a rotating schedule. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team working together to provide top-notch care for complex neurology referral cases.
Your Key Responsibilities- Nursing care for hospitalized patients in ICU or day wards
- Anesthetic monitoring during diagnostic procedures such as MRI
- Surgical preparation for interventions
- Maintenance of specialist equipment
- Support for post-operative care of neurological patients
You will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of patient care throughout their treatment journey.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo succeed in this role, you must possess excellent attention to detail, empathy, and confidence to take initiative in patient care. A keen interest in neurological cases is essential, and prior experience in a referral practice is highly beneficial.
A relevant certificate or post-graduate qualification would be advantageous.
