Job Summary:

  • We are seeking an experienced forklift operator to join our operations team.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of palletised finished products.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Movement of palletised finished products with forklift equipment
  • Loading and unloading trucks with finished products or materials
  • Transferring finished goods from palletiser to on-site storage areas
  • Shifting complete pallets for resorting
  • Quality checks and assurance
  • Purchasing packaging materials
  • Inventory management and control
  • Maintaining high levels of housekeeping and yard duties

Requirements:

  • Licence to operate a forklift
  • Confidence in operating a twin tyne forklift in a fast paced manufacturing environment
  • Attention to detail, strong work ethic and effective communication skills
  • Basic computer literacy and SAP knowledge is advantageous
