Job Description

Senior Risk and Compliance Officer

This role involves leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of comprehensive risk management and compliance programs. The ideal candidate will have strong understanding of risk management, compliance, and privacy principles, with experience in tender processes, data analysis, and mitigation strategies.

The Senior Risk and Compliance Officer will work closely with stakeholders to identify, assess, and address potential risks, ensuring that the firm operates within its risk appetite and maintains compliance with legislative and contractual obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement risk management and compliance programs, focusing on areas such as AML/CTF regime, ESG, and business continuity planning.
  • Ensure client compliance through participation in tender processes, key client protocols, and contractual obligations.
  • Oversee the firm's ESG program, collaborating with stakeholders to maintain high standards of compliance and client satisfaction.
  • Conduct regular risk assessments and reviews to identify potential compliance and privacy risks.

Key Requirements:

  • 8-10 years of proven risk, compliance, and privacy management experience in a similar role.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Risk Management and/or Compliance or Law.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
