Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Concrete Batch Plant Operator to join our team at Hanson. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operation of a concrete batch plant, ensuring the production of high-quality concrete products, and delivering them to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain a concrete batch plant, ensuring efficient and safe production processes
  • Monitor and control the quality of concrete products, adhering to strict quality standards
  • Interact with customers, taking orders and scheduling deliveries, providing excellent customer service
  • Collaborate with other local plants to achieve positive outcomes for Hanson and our customers
  • Ensure all plant and equipment are properly maintained, scheduling and conducting maintenance as required
  • Manage maintenance and production tasks, including manual handling
  • Deliver concrete products to customers, requiring a valid HR license

Requirements

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work unsupervised
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including Saturdays and overtime
  • Hold a Heavy Rigid (HR) license
  • Ability to obtain a Construction Card/White Card
  • Physical ability to perform all tasks associated with the position
