Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing leadership and guidance to the team and working with the Partner to manage the day-to-day operation of the office
  • Reviewing and preparing tax returns and financial statements
  • Communicating with clients, responding to their queries, managing their expectations, and further developing positive relationships with the firm
  • Working on complex tax issues (Division 7 A loans, FBT, CGT)
  • Dealing with regulatory bodies such as the ATO & ASIC on behalf of clients
  • Providing training and mentorship for junior staff members

Requirements:

  • 5 + years' experience in an Australian firm
  • Experience reviewing, mentoring and training junior staff members
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to multitask, manage priorities, and deliver exceptional customer service
