About Us

We are seeking a skilled Painting Trades Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting and decorating, with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.

The Role

• Prepare painting surfaces by washing walls, repairing holes, and removing old paint.
• Estimate materials required for each job and prepare cost estimates for clients.
• Operate and maintain painting equipment, including brushes, rollers, and sprayers.
• Ensure all painting and decorating work is done according to company standards and client requirements.
• Perform quality control checks to ensure painting jobs are completed to the highest standards.
• Collaborate with other tradesmen to ensure seamless execution of projects.
• Evaluate and identify surface defects like cracks and uneven textures before painting.
• Work on a variety of structures including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Maintain accurate records of time spent on projects, materials used, and expenses.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members.
• Complete projects within deadlines while maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Painting Trades Worker, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
• Relevant qualifications in Painting and decoration minimum certificate III.
• Solid knowledge of different painting techniques and surface preparation methods.
• Ability to work with different painting tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
• Experience in managing materials, stock control, and minimizing wastage.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work across different locations, as per project requirements.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to understand client specifications.

Benefits

• $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
• 8 hour shift
