About the Role:
As a Perioperative Clinical Nursing Lead, you will play a pivotal role in providing exceptional patient care and leadership to the perioperative team. With a focus on safe and effective patient care, you will work closely with the Nurse Manager to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for ensuring all aspects of patient care services are of the highest standard.
- Provide leadership to the unit by demonstrating accountability as an autonomous clinician and within a team.
- Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of care provided and develop strategic plans for areas of deficit.
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and lead peri-operative nursing care in collaboration with individuals and the multidisciplinary healthcare team, to achieve goals and positive health outcomes.
Requirements:
- Post Graduate Qualification in Perioperative Nursing (Highly Desirable)
- Recent Clinical experience in Theatre Nursing
- AHPRA Registration
- Sound knowledge and understanding of perioperative governing bodies & regulations.
