As a Grade 1 Podiatrist, you will have the opportunity to work across diverse clinical settings, including acute, sub-acute and community health sites. You will be supported by experienced colleagues and encouraged to develop your skills in wound and high-risk foot care through supportive supervision, case discussion, and professional development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, effective, and patient-centred care, encompassing assessment, intervention, and discharge planning for patients at Royal Melbourne Hospital.
  • Develop and maintain effective communication strategies with patients, relatives, staff, and relevant services to ensure seamless delivery of services and information.
  • Work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • AHPRA registration as a Podiatrist (or anticipating completion of studies in 2024)
  • Dedication to delivering evidence-based practice and commitment to ongoing professional development
