Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Scheduling Officer to join our high-performing team in the City Fringe. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in providing scheduling services that meet the needs of our customers and workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to our community clients
  • Monitor and action assigned tasks efficiently, accurately, and within deadline
  • General scheduling of home care services
  • Proactively and professionally liaise with internal stakeholders to support customer changes and additions to their current schedules
  • Record, monitor, and maintain documentation that is compliant with our framework, the Aged Care Standards, and associated regulations
  • Complete all documentation regarding internal or external stakeholders accurately and efficiently, using the appropriate documentation process
  • Call clients to confirm services booked and reflect this in the system
  • Call frontline workers to coordinate services needed
  • Proactively support Scheduling Specialists/Team Leaders to achieve divisional and organisational objectives, goals, and outcomes
Essential Criteria
  • A current National Police Clearance (or the ability to apply for one)
  • Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced scheduling/administrative role within a medium to large sized organisation focusing on delivering quality services
  • Highly developed software literacy skills across all common MS Office products and ideally in rostering software packages
  • Highly developed prioritisation skills with a proven ability to manage workload in order to achieve business outcomes
  • Highly developed analytical skills with the ability to manipulate and analyse raw data and present the analysis in an appropriate manner
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of scheduling in an Aged Care and/or Health setting will be advantageous but not essential
