About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Logistics Manager to oversee warehouse operations at our client's Lithgow Plant. This role requires strong leadership and technical expertise in inventory control, receiving, picking, packing, and quality and safety management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage industrial supply chain operations and warehouse activities to support manufacturing.
- Schedule and coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Oversee inbound and outbound deliveries, ensuring adequate transport and warehousing.
- Reconcile in-transit processes for timely receipt of goods.
- Ensure accurate stock delivery, quality checks, and receipt into SAP.
- Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for materials replenishment and daily operations.
- Maintain inventory accuracy, manage stock takes, and address delivery issues.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Work with quality assurance and Group Quality teams on audits and improvements.
- Lead safety and quality improvement projects and manage CAPEX within SAP.
- Oversee team management and development.
Requirements
- University Degree in Supply Chain or related field.
- Proven experience in FMCG logistics and warehouse operations, particularly in industrial manufacturing.
- Understanding of Australian logistics operations and COR regulations.
- APICS certification (CPIM preferred) is advantageous.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Experience in team management, problem solving, and project management.
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Office skills.
- Experience in managing safety programs in an industrial environment.
