M.A.C Cosmetics Education Assistant Manager Role

An exciting opportunity awaits a dedicated education makeup artist trainer to join the M.A.C Travel Retail education team as an Education Assistant Manager. This prestigious position offers a chance to advance your career in a luxury cosmetics brand.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coaching and developing skilled makeup artists, conducting classroom training programs and workshops, and delivering virtual sessions. They will also foster cooperative relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring seamless collaboration and results-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach and train makeup artists in various settings, including classrooms, stores, and virtually
  • Develop and implement effective training programs that meet business objectives
  • Mentor and coach team members to enhance their skills and knowledge
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive business growth

This role reports to the Regional Education Manager and has a matrix reporting line to the Brand Area Sales & Operations Manager. To succeed, you must be energetic, proactive, and motivated to help others learn the craft of makeup artistry.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • Beauty industry experience in teaching or training, which is highly advantageous
  • Confident public speaking skills and the ability to communicate effectively with groups
  • Strong organisational and time management skills, along with good administration skills
  • Energetic and proactive approach to work, with a willingness to mentor and coach others

Compensation Package

We offer a competitive salary package, estimated to be around AU$70,000 - AU$90,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will receive a generous product allocation and other benefits mentioned earlier.
