About the Role

We are seeking an experienced educator to lead our ELICOS program. The successful candidate will have a commitment to creating a supportive learning environment for international students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain the curriculum, ensuring it is current, effective, and aligned with the latest teaching methods and standards (ELICOS Standard 2018 and the National Code ESOS Act 2000)
  • Provide training, mentorship, and ongoing support to teachers, ensuring they have the skills and resources they need to deliver effective lessons
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the program, including scheduling and record-keeping
  • Oversee student assessment and evaluation, conducting assessment validation, reviewing, and updating assessment strategy when required
  • Evaluate the program's effectiveness and make recommendations for improvement, ensuring compliance with ELICOS Standard 2018 and the National Code ESOS Act 2000

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in TESOL, Applied Linguistics, or a related field (a master's degree is preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching ELICOS programs to international students
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Legal right to work and reside in Australia
